Meet Our Team
Hi! I'm Alli K. As a blonding specialist for almost 8 years, I have spent the majority of my time behind my chair customizing the perfect balayage for my guests and specializing in Men's styling. I love making my guests feel their best self by offering my expertise in creating a whole look.
From the moment you sit in my chair, my job as your stylist is to help create your new style and I love teaming up with you to do just that! I approach each guest with low pressure and a relaxed experience while they spend their time with me.
As a Greenwood native, I recently moved to Franklin with my boyfriend Zach and have loved starting to create connections between the two communities. In my spare time, you can find me spending time with my sweet cat (Chandler or Chan-man to those who know him personally) or with my very large family around town. I enjoy listening to my music a little too loud, singing it even louder, all while living my life as the definition of "dance like no one is watching". If you see me out, I would love for you to join me on the dance floor!

Hello! My name is Caroline Short and I would love for you to get to know me! I have always loved the idea of doing hair, so during my sophomore year of high school I applied and was accepted into the Paul Mitchell cosmetology program. as only a handful of high schoolers are chosen to attend their part time program, I was ecstatic. I had to quickly make a decision to whether I was going to attend or not because I still loved the idea of college and was unsure if I wanted to give up that opportunity. After graduation, I attended college for a year, soon realizing hair was what I wanted to do.
In 2019 I enrolled myself into the cosmetology program at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture and graduated in 2020. Starting my first salon position at The Beauty Mark in Westfield, IN, I quickly learned to adapt and to hustle. I jumped right in and I was taking every new client, learning new things everyday helped me to learn my love for blonding.
I moved down to Greenwood and started my journey at The Station Hair Parlor in 2021. While being here I was able to learn a good deal from the owner, by watching her work on her clients - learning different tips and tricks. I made the decision to join the team at Meraki Hair and extensions and continue to keep learning to become the best stylist I can. creating not just for a career but also for a passion for connection through the salon.
when I am not learning with our team, you will find me coaching volleyball or rescuing all of the dogs. You will find our salon is extra dog friendly (although we ask you keep them home) but we always wants to see your fur kids photos! I'll even be happy to show your my three fur babies!

As a busy, working wife and dog mom of 3, I understand exactly how important it is to make the most out of our time all while knowing when to relax and feel pampered. We at Meraki have designed our salon suite to give an experience offering just that. My hope is to leave you feeling more confident and empowered than any salon experience before.
I have been a stylist for 17+ years and am absolutely in love with my work now, more than ever. I specialize in customizing the perfect look for you by offering low maintenance and dimensional color. I further enhance that look by now offering weft extensions & soon integrating weft systems for clients suffering from conditions such as alopecia, trichotillomania, post chemo hair loss and other hair loss complications. I take great pride in the fact that throughout the year I educate myself on the latest in both color trends, multiple extension methods and here to come, hair replacement services.

While some stylists offer a beautiful service, I view my role as your stylist a bit differently. Together, with you, I create a long term hair journey that suits your lifestyle. In my chair, I work with you to develop a maintenance plan to keep you looking and feeling the most confident. Both in your new look and with me. I hold myself accountable to check in with you throughout the year and ensure any issues that should arise are resolved together.
When I am not in the salon, I am often prioritizing my time either cuddling up on the couch with our mini dachshunds (Calie, Maggie and Piper), trying out a workout class or enjoying local activities around Indy. My husband and I love catching a comedy show or a random band at the Hifi as often as possible, all while enjoying a local craft beer.
I have a slight guilty pleasure of watching all the trash tv when I get home after being on my feet behind the chair all day. Bravo shows are often my go to; however, when I need something with more excitement you’ll often hear me ask my guests about all the latest shows. Should the need arise and should need a recommendation, I also have a go to list!

Hi! I’m Samantha, I’ve been a hair stylist for 11 years. You can find me at Meraki Hair & Extensions located in Greenwood, Indiana. Our suite has the perfect laid-back luxury vibe for optimal comfort and relaxation. Over the years, I’ve really grown to love and appreciate the uniqueness of every guest that sits in my chair. My specialties are in curly hair with custom cutting techniques, and have finessed an art for lived in looks. I want your color experience to be fun and educational so that you can get the most out of your experience with me. Together, we’ll achieve whichever Pinterest picture look you desire.
When I came into the industry, I had the intention to make every person who sat in my chair feel beautiful, confident and empowered. Also, continuously learning and growing is of great importance to me, so I take classes to keep up to date and learn the latest trends to bring to you. With this, I have taken the time to develop my own unique techniques for a customized experience. I take pride in all aspects of my work. Whether it’s shampooing hair, sweeping, answering phone calls, or anything else, I believe my job starts when I walk through that door.
When I’m not behind the chair, I love to enjoy some delicious coffee, usually some crazy order from the macrobrista off Instagram inspiration, or a glass of mimosa with my friends. You can also usually find me traveling around the country because let’s be a real, a girl always needs a vacation. When I am home, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two shizh tus, Ralph & Roxie, who most definitely are spoiled rotten.
